Abstract
Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for overvåkning av avleiringer av organiske avleiringer fra en væske eller oppslemming i en papirfremstillingsprosess. Fremgangsmåten innebærer måling av avleiringshastigheten av organiske avleiringer fra væsken eller oppslemmingen i en papirfremstillingsprosess på en kvartskrystall mikrovekt med en overside som er i kontakt med væsken eller oppslemmingen, og en andre underside som er isolert fra væsken eller oppslemmingen. Det er også beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for måling av effekten av inhibitorer som reduserer avleiringen av organiske avleiringer i en papirfremstillingsprosess. Fremgangsmåten innebærer overvåkning av avleiringen av organiske avleiringer fra en væske eller oppslemming fra en papirfremstillingsprosess eller fra en væske eller oppslemming som simulerer en væske eller oppslemming som finnes i en papirfremstillingsprosess. Begge metodene innbefatter måling av avleiringshastigheten for organiske avleiringer fra væsken eller oppslemmingen på en kvartskrystall mikrovekt med en overside som er i kontakt med væsken eller oppslemmingen, og en andre underside som er isolert fra væsken eller oppslemmingen; tilsette en inhibitor som reduserer avleiringen av organiske avleiringer til væsken eller oppslemmingen; og gjenta målingen av avleiringshastigheten av organiske avleiringer fra væsken eller oppslemmingen på kvartskrystall mikrovekten.
