Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un dispositif de protection d'un ouvrant (1) de véhicule, l'ouvrant étant articulé par rapport à une paroi (2) du véhicule au niveau d'au moins une charnière (3). Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins un sabot (7) solidaire de l'ouvrant (1) au niveau d'un rebord de celui ci au voisinage duquel sont disposées la ou les charnières (3). Le sabot (7) vient s'engager en dessous d'une surface d'appui (10) solidaire de la paroi (2) lorsque l'ouvrant est en position fermée, la coopération du sabot (7) avec sa surface d'appui (10) étant telle que l'ouvrant ne peut être écarté de la paroi même en cas de destruction de la ou des charnières (3).

Description

DISPOSITIF DE PROTECTION D'UN OUVRANT DE VEHICULE
Le domaine technique de 1 ' invention est celui des dispositifs de protection d'un véhicule et notamment des protections des ouvrants de ce véhicule (tels que les trappes ou les portes) .
Les véhicules blindés comportent généralement des protections assurant la résistance des parois aux impacts de projectiles ou bien aux souffles des détonations d'explosifs. S'il est relativement simple de protéger une paroi, il est plus délicat d'assurer la protection d'un ouvrant.
En effet, les ouvrants sont montés généralement pivotants sur des charnières qui constituent des points faibles susceptibles d'être détruits lors de l'initiation d'un explosif à proximité d'un véhicule.
Ce risque est accru aujourd'hui en raison de la présence sur les terrains d'opérations d'IED (selon l'acronyme anglo saxon "Improvised Explosive Devices") ou bien en français EEI
(Engins Explosifs Improvisés) qui sont des moyens explosifs improvisés mais qui peuvent mettre en œuvre des masses d'explosif ou d'autres matériaux énergétiques (essence, gaz) importantes .
En effet, l'explosion d'un IED peut provoquer des dégâts très importants sur une structure telle qu'une cabine de véhicule. Si les serrures à points de fixation multiples assurent dans une certaine mesure le maintien des rebords de la porte, les charnières peuvent pourtant se retrouver détruites .
Le rebond de la porte sur la paroi qui est consécutif à l'explosion va provoquer son arrachage au niveau des charnières et la perte ainsi de la protection qu'elle assurait aux occupants du véhicule.
On connaît par le brevet EP- 0788911 et le modèle d'utilité DE-29600320 une structure de porte pour automobile qui comprend un cadre formé de montants verticaux portants des demi-charnières et d'autres accessoires tels qu'un boîtier de fixation d'une fermeture. Cependant, ces documents ne décrivent aucun moyen permettant d'empêcher l'arrachement des charnières consécutif à un rebond de la porte après une explosion se produisant à l'extérieur du véhicule.
L'invention a pour but de proposer des moyens permettant d'améliorer la protection des ouvrants d'un véhicule.
L'invention assure ainsi le renfort des charnières en empêchant toute éjection de l'ouvrant en cas d'initiation d'une masse d'explosif au voisinage du véhicule.
Ainsi, l'invention a pour objet un dispositif de protection d'un ouvrant de véhicule, l'ouvrant étant articulé par rapport à une paroi du véhicule au niveau d'au moins une charnière, dispositif caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins un sabot solidaire de l'ouvrant au niveau d'un rebord de celui ci au voisinage duquel sont disposées la ou les charnières, sabot venant s'engager en dessous d'une surface d'appui solidaire de la paroi lorsque l'ouvrant est en position fermée, la coopération du sabot avec sa surface d'appui étant telle que l'ouvrant ne peut être écarté de la paroi même en cas de destruction de la ou des charnières.
Le sabot pourra être fixe par rapport à 1 ' ouvrant et comporter un profil en coin qui s'engage sous la surface d'appui lors du pivotement de l'ouvrant sur ses charnières.
La surface d'appui pourra être solidaire d'un rebord interne de l'ouverture qui est aménagée sur la paroi du véhicule et qui est obturée par l'ouvrant, la surface d'appui se trouvant ainsi à l'intérieur du véhicule quand l'ouvrant est fermé.
On pourra disposer une surface d'appui et un sabot au niveau de chaque charnière. Alternativement, on pourra disposer au moins une surface d'appui et au moins un sabot entre deux charnières consécutives .
L ' invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description gui va suivre de différents modes de réalisation, description faite en référence aux dessins annexés et dans lesquels :
- les figures la et Ib montrent en coupe partielle un ouvrant d'un véhicule équipé d'un dispositif selon un premier mode de réalisation de l'invention, la vue Ib montrant l'ouvrant en position ouverte et la figure la le même ouvrant en position fermée,
- les figures 2a et 2b montrent en coupe partielle un ouvrant d'un véhicule équipé d'un dispositif selon un second mode de réalisation de l'invention, la vue 2b montrant l'ouvrant en position ouverte et la figure 2a le même ouvrant en position fermée,
- la figure 3 montre, pour ce second mode de réalisation, une vue latérale partielle de l'ouvrant en position ouverte, - la figure 4 est analogue à la figure 3 et montre en vue latérale partielle un troisième mode de réalisation.
En se reportant aux figures la, Ib, un ouvrant 1 d'un véhicule est représenté articulé par rapport à une paroi 2 du véhicule au niveau d'une charnière 3. Seule une charnière 3 est ici représentée, mais l'ouvrant pourra bien entendu porter plusieurs charnières.
La charnière 3 comporte un axe 4 qui est ici solidaire de l'ouvrant 1 et qui pivote sur des paliers 5 solidaires de la paroi 2. L'ouvrant 1 obture en position fermée une ouverture 6 qui est aménagée sur la paroi 2 du véhicule.
Selon ce mode de réalisation de l'invention, l'ouvrant 1 comporte un sabot 7 qui est constitué ici par un rebord de l'ouvrant 1 formant une surface plane 8 qui est inclinée d'un angle α inférieur à 90° par rapport à la face interne 9 de l'ouvrant (figure Ib).
Lorsque l'ouvrant 1 est en position fermée (figure la), le sabot 7 vient s'engager en dessous d'une surface d'appui 10 complémentaire qui est solidaire d'au moins un bloc 11 solidaire de la paroi 2. Le sabot 7 ne gêne pas le mouvement d'ouverture de l'ouvrant. On a représenté sur la figure la par la flèche 15 la trajectoire circulaire parcourue par le bord inférieur de la surface 8 du sabot 7. Le bloc 11 est fixé à la paroi par exemple par soudure. Les charnières 3 peuvent être solidaires du ou des blocs 11 mais avantageusement les blocs 11 seront distincts des charnières et fixés à la paroi par des moyens de solidarisation spécifiques. On voit sur la figure la que, lorsque l'ouvrant est fermé, la surface plane 8 du sabot 7 est en contact avec la surface d'appui 10 du bloc 11 (un léger jeu est possible entre les surfaces) . Dans cette position une extraction de l'ouvrant 1 suivant la direction E est impossible et l'ouvrant 1 ne peut pas être écarté de la paroi 2 même en cas de destruction de la ou des charnières 3.
Donc si les charnières 3 se trouvent détruites, le sabot 7 assure cependant le maintien de l'ouvrant 1 par rapport à la paroi 2. L'ouvrant continue donc à obturer l'ouverture 6 et la protection de l'équipage du véhicule reste assurée.
Le dispositif selon l'invention constitue donc un moyen assurant un renfort de la protection de l'ouvrant 1. Il se substitue aux charnières 3 en cas de destruction de ces dernières et interdit tout rebond et éjection de l'ouvrant 1. Le sabot 7 pourra s'étendre sur toute la longueur du rebord de l'ouvrant considéré.
On pourra alternativement, pour faciliter les usinages, prévoir un sabot 7 au niveau de chaque charnière 3. Chaque sabot aura alors par exemple une longueur supérieure ou égale à la longueur de la charnière qu'il renforce.
Les figures 2a et 2b montrent un autre mode de réalisation qui diffère du précédent en ce que les sabots 7 sont des pièces rapportées qui sont fixées au niveau de la face interne 9 de l'ouvrant 1. Le sabot 7 là encore ne gêne pas le mouvement d'ouverture de l'ouvrant 1. On a représenté sur la figure 2a par les flèches 15a et 15b les trajectoires circulaires des rebords délimitant la surface 8 du sabot 7. La figure 3 montre l'implantation des sabots 7 sur l'ouvrant 1. Ce dernier pivote par rapport à la paroi 2 suivant deux charnières 3. On a représenté en 12 1 ' axe de pivotement des deux charnières 3.
Chaque sabot 7 est disposé en regard d'une charnière 3 et il est fixé à l'ouvrant 1 par des vis 13. Les sabots 7 ont ici une largeur légèrement supérieure à celle de la charnière
3. Leur largeur pourrait aussi être inférieure à celle des charnières, l'essentiel est que les dimensions des surfaces d'appui soient suffisantes pour assurer le maintien souhaité. Ce mode de réalisation diffère également du précédent en ce que la surface d'appui 10 qui est destinée à coopérer avec une surface complémentaire 8 du sabot 7 est solidaire d'un rebord interne 14 de 1 ' ouverture 6.
On voit sur la figure 3 la localisation des surfaces d'appui 10 qui sont réalisées sous la forme d'entailles aménagées sur le rebord interne 14 en regard des charnières 3. Les surfaces d'appui 10 se trouvent donc à l'intérieur du véhicule quand l'ouvrant 1 est fermé. Ce mode de réalisation assure une protection d'un niveau supérieur. En effet en cas de destruction des charnières 3, c'est le rebord de la paroi 2 lui-même qui assure la tenue de l'ouvrant 1 à l'arrachement. On n'est plus avec ce mode de réalisation tributaire de la résistance mécanique des blocs 11 et de leurs moyens de fixation à la paroi 2. La figure 4 montre un autre mode de réalisation de
1 ' invention dans lequel un sabot 7 a été mis en place entre les deux charnières 3. Ce sabot coopère avec une surface d'appui 10 unique qui est aménagée sur le rebord interne 14 de I1 ouverture 6.
Il est bien entendu possible de mettre en œuvre l'invention pour tout type d'ouvrant. Aussi bien pour les ouvrants latéraux (portes du véhicule) que pour des ouvrants de toit. En effet il est également nécessaire d'assurer la protection des charnières des ouvrants de toit qui peuvent se trouver détruites en cas d'explosion de mine, l'onde de choc leur parvenant par 1 ' intermédiaire de la structure même du véhicule .

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Dispositif de protection d'un ouvrant (1) de véhicule, l'ouvrant étant articulé par rapport à une paroi (2) du véhicule au niveau d'au moins une charnière (3), dispositif caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins un sabot (7) solidaire de l'ouvrant (1) au niveau d'un rebord de celui ci au voisinage duquel sont disposées la ou les charnières (3) , sabot (7) venant s'engager en dessous d'une surface d'appui (10) solidaire de la paroi (2) lorsque l'ouvrant (1) est en position fermée, la coopération du sabot (7) avec sa surface d'appui (10) étant telle que l'ouvrant ne peut être écarté de la paroi (2) même en cas de destruction de la ou des charnières (3) .
2. Dispositif de protection selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le sabot (7) est fixe par rapport à l'ouvrant (1) et comporte un profil en coin qui s'engage sous la surface d'appui (10) lors du pivotement de l'ouvrant sur ses charnières .

Dispositif de protection selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la surface d'appui (10) est solidaire d'un rebord interne (14) de l'ouverture (6) qui est aménagée sur la paroi (2) du véhicule et qui est obturée par l'ouvrant (1), la surface d'appui (10) se trouvant ainsi à l'intérieur du véhicule quand l'ouvrant (1) est fermé.
4. Dispositif de protection selon une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'on dispose une surface d'appui (10) et un sabot (7) au niveau de chaque charnière (3) .
