Abstract

본 발명은 인트라 예측 방법 및 장치와 그를 이용한 영상 부호화/복호화 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 인트라 예측 장치에 있어서, 주변 블록에 포함되는 하나 이상의 인접 화소의 화소값을 현재 블록의 각 화소와 하나 이상의 인접 화소와의 거리에 따라 가중 평균하여 현재 블록의 각 화소의 화소값을 예측하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인트라 예측 장치를 제공한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 부호화하고자 하는 현재 블록을 더욱 정확하게 예측함으로써, 실제 블록과 예측된 블록 간의 차이를 줄여 부호화의 효율을 높일 수 있으며, 그를 통해 압축 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.
