Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d’alimentation en carburant pour un moteur à combustion interne (10) dans un véhicule à moteur, le dispositif comportant un réservoir de carburant (11), une pompe à carburant électrique (12) pour le transport du carburant dans une conduite d’amenée du carburant (13), un accumulateur de pression (18) et une unité de commande électronique (24) qui commande la pompe à carburant (12), en fonction de la pression dans la conduite d'amenée du carburant (13), de telle sorte que la pompe soit arrêtée en cas de dépassement d'un seuil de pression supérieur et soit mise en route dans le cas où la pression descendrait en dessous d'un seuil de pression inférieur. Pour réduire la consommation de carburant, l’unité de commande (24) met en route la pompe à carburant (12) même dans le cas où il y a une décélération du moteur à combustion interne (10) et dans le cas où la pression dans la conduite d’amenée du carburant (13) descendrait en dessous du seuil de pression supérieur.
