Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein optisches Sicherheitselement und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines optischen Sicherheitselements in Form eines Mehrschichtkörpers mit einem in einem ersten Bereich des Sicherheitselements ausgebildeten Projektionselement (8) zur Umformung von durch das optische Sicherheitselement im ersten Bereich transmittierten Lichts mittels Diffraktion. Das Projektionselement (8) weist eine Vielzahl von ersten Zonen (85) auf, in denen eine erste Oberfläche einer Replizierschicht (82) eine erste Oberflächenstruktur aufweist und eine opake metallische Schicht (85) auf der ersten Oberfläche der Replizierschicht (82) angeordnet ist. Es weist weiter eine Vielzahl transparenter zweiter Zonen (86) aufweist, in denen die erste Oberfläche der Replizierschicht eine zweite Oberflächenstruktur (87) mit einem sich von dem Aspektverhältnis der ersten Oberflächenstruktur unterscheidenden Aspektverhältnis aufweist und keine opake metallische Schicht vorgesehen ist. Die ersten Zonen (85) weisen jeweils eine kleinste Abmessung von weniger als 20 μm auf und das aus den ersten und zweiten Zonen gebildete Muster bildet eine diffraktive Optik aus, die das durch die zweiten Zonen (86) transmittierte Licht zur Darstellung einer ersten Information beugt.
