Definitions
- the present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly to a base station device, a user device, and a communication control method.
- the W-CDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) and HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) successor communication systems that is, Evolved UTRA and UTRAN (also known as LTE (Long Term Evolution) or Super 3G) are W-CDMA. Is being discussed by the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project).
- E-UTRA employs OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) for the downlink and SC-FDMA (Single-Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access) for the uplink.
- OFDMA is a system in which a frequency band is divided into a plurality of narrow frequency bands (subcarriers) and data is transmitted on each frequency band.
- OFDMA can achieve high-speed transmission and increase frequency utilization efficiency by arranging subcarriers closely on the frequency without overlapping each other even though they partially overlap.
- SC-FDMA is a transmission method that can reduce interference between terminals by dividing a frequency band and transmitting using different frequency bands among a plurality of terminals.
- SC-FDMA has the feature that fluctuations in transmission power are reduced, so that low power consumption and wide coverage of the terminal can be realized.

- CQI Channel Quality Indicator
- each user equipment in a cell transmits using different time / frequency resources. In this way, orthogonality between user apparatuses in the cell is realized.
- SC-FDMA single-carrier transmission with a low peak power to average power ratio (PAPR) is realized by assigning continuous frequencies. For this reason, a coverage area can be increased in an uplink in which restrictions on transmission power are severe.
- the time / frequency resources to be allocated are determined by the scheduler of the base station apparatus based on the propagation status of each user and the QoS (Quality of Service) of data to be transmitted.
- QoS includes a data rate, a required error rate, and a delay.
- throughput can be increased by allocating time / frequency resources with good propagation conditions to each user.
