Annl i cation Number:
Title ol invention: Method, apparatus providing and selling (King Stone) pre-mix Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete.
Field of invention:
The invention is related to building material like concrete. More particularly, the invention is related to concrete reinforced with glass fibers.
Background of invention.
In the fields of the civil engineering and the building, Mortar and concrete have a problem that they basically show a low bending strength if compared with their high compressive strength. The bending strength is not remarkably improved by raising the compressive strength. Known techniques for improving the bending strength of mortar or that of concrete include those of introducing prestress by the PC steel used therein, those of introducing chemical prestress by means of an expansive cement, those of reinforcement by means of metal fiber and those of producing a composite structure by filling steel pipes with high strength mortar or concrete.
Prior Art:
Conventional GRC is mixed manually with the common available chemical additives which is not accurate. No quality control and huge storage for the raw material and heavy labor cost .long demolding time and curing time. And can be used by specialized GRC companies. No quality control.
However, invented GRC is ready to use Product which is premixed with chemical additives. It can be used just by mixing it with water. It has fastest demolding time and low water cement ratio helps to increase productivity. It is made of best material available and mixed by fully automated state of art plant in accurate ratio .It is Very economical and time saving reduces labor cost and dye cost, tt is easy to use and can be used by any one Summary of the invention.
The object of the invention is to introduce for first time ever completely dry kingstone pre-mixed GRC formula. No liquid chemicals or additives are required. Only water to add in a prescribed ration
Detail Description of invention:
The invented kingstone pre-mix GRC is having many advantages.
The kingstone pre-mix GRC will not rot or corrode and is resistant to biological attack. No embedded steel, so no sapling or staining advanced matrices can be used to further enhance long term ductility, reduce shrinkage etc. GRC is having many features like low permeability and hard dense surface, carbonation 1/10* the rate of concrete, high compressive and flextural strength, Low maintainace.
Following are the mechanical properties of kingstone pre-mix GRC.
Figure imgf000003_0001
The king stone pre-mix GRC may be painted, stained or may be produced with tiles, granite or other stone Veneer finishes. To achieve integral coloured finishes, GRC can be use with white cement and pigments. Textures can be achieved either from the mould or by acid etching or sandblasting to expose the texture and color of the sand or aggregate.
Technical procedure of Mixing
Cement and admixture is mixed in a blender for 15 minutes with 60 RPM Blender.
Then white silica sand is added in the same mixture, (of different mesh size as per requirement) for 15 minutes with 60 RPM blender. Fiber is added in the last 5 minutes of the cycle with 30 RPM. and finally the finished mixture is conveyed the bag packing machine for packing. It has a shelf life of 1 year. Should be kept away from moisture.
Formulation of Mixing
Cement 50%
White dried silica sand 46 %
Alkaline resistant Glass chopped strand fibers 3% of the weitht of cement
Chemical admixture special design 1.3 % of the tital weight of cement
Formulation mix design can vary depends on the special requirement
Following are further details about the kingstone GRC.
COMPOSIT MATERIAL
Made of White Cement Fine Quartz Silica Sand, AR Fiber Bonding Agents,
Chemical Admixtures and Water to use it.
TRALOR MADE
- Can be moulded in the plant to any shape, size or form
