Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for monitoring braking action. This device (1) has a carrying structure (2), a chassis (3), at least one braking unit (4), which is fastened to the carrying structure (2) and transfers a breaking force to a friction surface (5) of a rotating element (6) of the chassis (3) and at least one load sensor (7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e). In order to improve the monitoring of the braking action, the invention proposes that at least one load sensor (7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 7e), which can measure a friction force or a force resulting therefrom, between the braking unit (4) and a friction surface (5), be disposed at the braking unit (4) or at the supporting structure (2). Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle, comprising a corresponding device (1) and a corresponding method for monitoring the braking action of a vehicle.
