In some embodiments, the apical flank 54 is oriented at an angle between about 15 degrees to about 45 degrees, or between about 25 degrees to about 35 degrees, or about 30 degrees with respect to the coronal flank 56.
  • the peaks 84 can be located closer to either the buccal valley 86 or the lingual valley 87.
  • This configuration of the top edge 82 and the peaks 84 and valleys 86 and 87 result in an asymmetrical dental implant 20 that is well suited for matching asymmetrical bone-tissue morphologies, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing dental implant 20.
