- This method comprises the steps of extruding a tube of elastomeric material, applying the textile reinforcement to the outer circumference of the extruded tube, the textile reinforcement consisting essentially of fibers selected from the group of aliphatic polyamides, extrusion of a coating of a elastomeric material on the textile reinforcement and subsequent vulcanization of the resulting tube, characterized in that fibers are selected as a textile reinforcement with a hot air shrinkage less than 2.5%, preferably less than 2.3%, more preferably less than 2.1%, wherein the Hot air shrinkage according to DIN 53866 at 180 0 C, 2 min and a bias of 5 mN / tex is to be determined.
- the hose can be placed on a curing mandrel, whereby the resulting tube assumes a shape corresponding to the shape of the curing mandrel.
- the vulcanization can be carried out, for example, in saturated steam in an autoclave.
- the finished tube preferably has a curved part or a bend in its length.
- the fibers of the textile reinforcement are not treated with an adhesion improver.
- the fibers of the textile reinforcement are therefore preferably free from adhesion improvers.
