特定の構成単位(A)と(B)と(C)とを有する共重合体を含むポリアリーレン系の電池用電極電解質を用いることで、価格的な問題や、触媒金属の回収に関する問題が解決可能であり、かつ、プロトン伝導性や寸法安定性、耐メタノール性、機械的特性に優れ、MEA 作製時の加工適正性も優れる直接メタノール型燃料電池用電極を提供する。
