本発明は、低照度で開花する顕花植物を作製する方法を提供する。具体的には、本発明は、低照度環境で開花するトランスジェニック植物、その作製方法、その植物の開花方法などに関する。より具体的には、FT遺伝子を導入することにより、低照度環境(例えば、屋内)において開花するようにしたトランスジェニック植物、その作製方法、その植物の開花方法などに関する。
