Abstract

 被処理鋼材に対して削食を抑制しつつ従来に増して高い圧縮残留応力を付与することのできるショットピーニング方法を提供する。下記式(1)~(3)で与えられる硬さHV(m)が750HV以上の被処理鋼材に対して、該被処理鋼材の硬さHV(m)よりも50HV~250HVの範囲内で高いビッカース硬さを有する投射材を投射し、該被処理鋼材の削食量を5μm以下に抑制することを特徴とするショットピーニング方法。 HV(m1)={f(C)-f(T,t)}(1-γR/100)+400×γR/100 式(1)  f(C)=-660C2+1373C+278 式(2)  f(T,t)=0.05T(logt+17)-318 式(3)  但し C:浸炭による表層C(カーボン)濃度(質量%) T:焼戻し温度(K) t:焼戻し保持時間(hr) γR:残留オーステナイト量(体積%)
