Abstract
肥満を早期に予期しうる遺伝的マーカーを開発し、メタボリックシンドロームをはじめとする肥満関連疾患の予防に寄与する。ヒト被験者のゲノムDNAを含む試料を用いて、SLC25A24遺伝子、ODZ3遺伝子、KIAA1797遺伝子、DLD遺伝子、LOC441282遺伝子、ONECUT2遺伝子、NPAS3遺伝子、ACCN1遺伝子、TGM2遺伝子、FAM44B遺伝子、ESRRG遺伝子、LRP1B遺伝子、FGF10遺伝子、KIAA1600遺伝子、AFTPH遺伝子、及びDAPK1遺伝子に存在する特定の一塩基多型(SNP)、又はそれらと連鎖不平衡にある遺伝子多型を検出することを含み、当該遺伝子多型又はその組み合わせは、前記被験者の成人後における体脂肪量が増加しやすいか否かを示唆する。
