Abstract

 燃料電池の運転停止時、電流掃引による圧力降下を水素漏れやクロスリークの有無等と誤判定するのを抑え、水素漏れ等の判定精度を向上させる。これを実現するため、燃料電池システムの低負荷時に当該燃料電池システム中の蓄電手段から電力消費装置への電力供給を行い当該燃料電池の発電を一時休止させる間欠運転中、当該燃料電池の劣化を抑制する電流掃引が実施されている場合に、該電流掃引による消費水素に基づき燃料電池のアノードにおける水素圧力を補正し、該補正後の水素圧力に基づいて、圧力降下による水素漏れまたは圧力降下によるクロスリークの判定を行う。例えば、電流掃引時の発電により降下するアノードの水素圧力の降下速度を積分し、当該発電による水素圧力降下分を算出し、当該水素圧力降下分を反映させることができる。
