Abstract

　本発明の課題は、平凸型フレネルレンズ状の各フレネルレンズ面１ａを領域Ｒごとに傾斜させることにより、各フレネルレンズ面１ａを通過した光を領域Ｒごとにある程度広がりのあるものとすることができる光学シート及びこれを用いたバックライトユニットを提供することにある。 　本発明は、平凸型リニアフレネルレンズ状の光学シート１において、平凸型リニアフレネルレンズ状に分割された各フレネルレンズ面１ａが、隣接する複数のフレネルレンズ面１ａごとに複数の領域Ｒに区分けされると共に、これらの領域Ｒの各フレネルレンズ面１ａが、当該フレネルレンズ面１ａにおける本来の凸型リニアフレネルレンズ状に対応する曲面又はこの曲面に近似させた平面を、領域Ｒが隣接する双方の端部側で逆向きに傾斜させ、かつ、それぞれの端部側ほど大きな角度で傾斜させた面によって形成された構成とする。
