Abstract

【課題】カメラパラメータ誤差や、路面反射光、レンズ付着物、自車両の影などのノイズによる影響を受けていない高品質な合成鳥瞰画像を車載カメラからの画像から作成して、この合成鳥瞰画像内から道路標示の認識処理を高精度に行う路面標示画像処理装置を提供する。 【解決手段】新規合成範囲決定手段１０４が前回撮影分までの合成鳥瞰画像に含まれない領域のみを現時刻の道路画像から鳥瞰画像化し、画像合成手段１０６が、この鳥瞰画像と前回撮影分までの合成鳥瞰画像とを合成して、新たな合成鳥瞰画像を作成する。
