Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine pour la production de maille par utilisation de matière fibreuse. La machine selon l'invention comprend un poste de travail servant à la formation des mailles, ainsi qu'un dispositif (8) pour l'amenée de la matière fibreuse (9). Le dispositif (8) comprend au moins un cylindre délivreur (10a) qui est entraîné à une vitesse périphérique inférieure à la vitesse à laquelle la matière fibreuse est transformée en mailles au niveau du poste de travail. Selon l'invention, on place entre le cylindre délivreur (10a) et le poste de travail un dispositif de guidage qui comprend au moins un manchon (12a) et un contre-guide formant une fente de guidage avec le manchon et qui est entraîné à une vitesse correspondant à la vitesse périphérique du cylindre délivreur (10a). Une extrémité de sortie (11c) de la fente de guidage est située à une distance du poste de travail qui est inférieure à la longueur de la fibre.
