Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'une nanofibre de β-chitine, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend l'étape consistant à immerger de la β-chitine purifiée ayant un degré de cristallinité de 90 % ou moins dans un fluide acide ayant un pH de 5 ou moins et l'étape de fibrillation de la β-chitine résultante; sur une nanofibre de β-chitine caractérisée en ce qu'elle est obtenue à partir de β-chitine purifiée ayant un degré de cristallinité de 90 % ou moins et en ce qu'elle a une largeur de 5 à 50 nm; sur une dispersion de nanofibres de β-chitine caractérisée en ce qu'elle est obtenue par dispersion des nanofibres de β-chitine dans un liquide; sur une structure de nanofibrilles caractérisée en ce qu'elle contient les nanofibres de β-chitine; et sur un composite de chitine caractérisé en ce qu'il est obtenu par mélange ou combinaison des nanofibres de β-chitine avec une substance organique ou inorganique.
