Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft dielektrisch positive flüssigkristalline Medien enthaltend eine dielektrisch positive Komponente, Komponente A, enthaltend eine dielektrisch positive Verbindung der Formel (I), worin die Parameter die in der Spezifikation angegebene Bedeutung besitzen, und gegebenenfalls eine zweite dielektrisch positive Komponente, Komponente B, enthaltend eine oder mehrere dielektrisch positive Verbindungen mit einer dielektrischen Anisotropie von mehr als 3 und gegebenenfalls eine dielektrisch neutrale Komponente, Komponente C, sowie diese Medien enthaltende Flüssigkristallanzeigen, speziell Aktivmatrixanzeigen und insbesondere TN-, IPS-, FFS- und OCB-Anzeigen.
