Abstract

 高温における放置特性が良好、かつ静電容量の低下及び内部抵抗の上昇を防止可能な電気二重層キャパシタ用分極性電極及びそれを用いた電気二重層キャパシタを提供する。ケッチェンブラックと活性炭とポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)水溶液とを混合することで、分極性電極を形成する。集電体にはアルミニウムエッチング箔を使用し、このアルミニウムエッチング箔を、リン酸水溶液又はリン酸アンモニウム等のリン酸塩水溶液に浸漬することで、当該アルミニウムエッチング箔の表面に、リンを15~115mg/m2保持させる。このアルミニウムエッチング箔表面の単位面積当たりの静電容量は、50~350μF/cm2である。
