Description

Apparatus for applying a monitor

The invention relates to a device for mounting a monitor on a vehicle seat part, such as a backrest, headrest or headrest mount a vehicle seat.

For longer road trips is at passengers in the rear seats, particularly in children, often feel the need to watch movies or to talk with video games. Today's technologies make it possible to build reception and playback devices so that neither a power connection is required nor a connection for data transmission. Rather, the installations reduce in a vehicle on a support for these devices.

In more expensive vehicles are fold-out monitor mounts in the roof console and in brackets, which are mounted between or on the seats (usually behind the head restraints) are known. Also known are directly backs and head restraints built monitors.

All these solutions are complex and correspondingly expensive, take up space, can cause injuries in accidents and can only be used in the vehicle. There are also monitors that can be attached with straps or Velcro on vehicle seats or headrests. These are unsightly, it is also not possible to change the viewing angle.

Accordingly, the object underlying the invention to provide a device for mounting a monitor on a vehicle seat part, such as a backrest,

to provide headrest or headrest mount a vehicle seat, which takes up little space as possible when not in use and does not represent a risk of injury to the occupants of the vehicle. In addition, the device is quickly and easily mounted on vehicle seats can be removed or replaced with other devices. In addition, the device is to allow alignment of the monitor on the viewer.

According to the invention this object is achieved by a device for attachment to a vehicle seat part, such as a backrest, headrest or headrest support of a vehicle seat having the features of independent claim 1 and 20 respectively. Advantageous developments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.

The inventive device comprises a fastening device which is assigned to a vehicle seat part, such as a backrest, headrest or headrest mount a vehicle seat. The fastening means can fixedly or movably attached to a vehicle seat to be part of, or subsequently by the user of the vehicle to a

Vehicle seat part to be mounted. For retrofitting own need to do especially the headrest rods with which the headrest is connected to the back of the vehicle seat.

A via a releasable coupling associated with the fastening device support member is connected via a joint to the monitor. The clutch preferably comprises a fastening means arranged on the receiving socket and an image picked up in this plug-in element which is arranged via a joint fixed to the monitor. On the clutch, a manually releasable locking is angeordenet with which the plug element is locked in the receiving bush. The plug element can be fitted with a locking device, so that a locking in different insertion depths is possible.

Alternatively, the support member may comprise a clamping device having two jaws between which the monitor can be clamped parallel to the rear broad side of the backrest with its broadside approximately. This has the advantage that different displays can be used in the vehicle and that there are no arrangements for use in the vehicle to be taken for these monitors, which would hinder a use of the monitor outside of the vehicle.

In a variant, in which the support member is fixedly pivoted on the monitor, and preferably a recess is provided on the back of the monitor, into which the carrier element can be folded when not in use.

The carrier element is designed as a holder in which the monitor can be inserted and removed, the support member should on one hand be suitable for mounting monitors of different dimensions and shapes, and no parts of the carrier element in the image plane or even the image section the other hand, may protrude. The insertion and removal of the monitor must be possible quickly and easily.

A preferred solution is obtained when the monitor is held pincer-like on two opposite end sides with a clamping device by clamping. The support element is preferably designed as a two-part telescope with two mutually biased by a spring parts jaws are arranged at their free ends, between which the monitor can be clamped. In the non-use position, the two parts are moved together by the spring force to block Mass and very compact. The insertion of the monitor is performed easily and quickly by the movable member is pulled out against the spring force from the fixed part of the telescope. done an adaptation to the dimensions of the monitor so automatically. The jaws are preferably made of a soft, non-slip material manufactured so that the edge of the monitor is not damaged and the monitor is kept stable without the clamping force must be high.

The fixed and the movable part of the telescope preferably have a U-shaped cross-section, so that on the jaws opposite side of the carrier element a recess forms, into which the hinged on the fixed part of the telescope stake member can be folded in the non-use position.

The joint is preferably formed as Friktionsscharnier, so that the inclination angle of the monitor is locked in any position.

Further advantages and embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the description and the accompanying drawings.

It is understood that useful features to be explained not only in the respectively specified combination but also in other combinations or in isolation mentioned above and below can, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
