Abstract

The invention relates to a device for applying a monitor (11) to a vehicle seat part, such as a back rest (2), a head rest (3), or a head rest holding part (4) of a vehicle seat (1), said device comprising a fixing part (5) which is associated with the vehicle seat part (2, 3, 4), a first coupling element (13a), a second coupling element (13b), and a carrier element for the monitor (11), the face of the carrier element being approximately parallel to the rear face of the back rest (2a). The fixing device (5) and the carrier element are interconnected by the first coupling element (13a) and the second coupling element (13b), and the first coupling element (13a) and the second coupling element (13b) can be locked by means of a manually detachable lock.
