Abstract

 自局の通信処理および他の移動局の中継処理が同時刻に発生する場合でも、双方の通信を切断することなく同時に行うことができる無線通信装置。この装置において、発着呼要求検出部(106)は、上位レイヤ処理部(105)から入力される信号から、自局の信号の発呼または着呼の要求があることを示す発着呼要求を検出する。また、中継要求検出部(108)は、中継信号復調部(107)から入力される復調後の中継信号から、MS1がMS2に対して基地局への中継を要求することを示す中継要求信号を検出する。そして、通信レート決定部(109)は、発着呼要求検出部(106)から発着呼要求が検出されたことを示す信号が入力された場合、または、中継要求検出部(108)から中継要求信号が検出されたことを示す信号が入力された場合、自局の信号および中継信号の双方を同時に送信するように通信レートを決定する。
