Abstract

適応マルチアンテナを用いる移動体通信システムにおいて、無線中継局数の変化に関わらず同じマルチアンテナ通信方式の適用を継続した場合に比べて、受信特性の向上や帯域の有効利用、処理量の最適化が実現できる。かかる適応マルチアンテナを用いる移動体通信システムは、無線基地局と、無線中継局と、前記無線中継局を介して前記無線基地局と通信を行う移動端末局とで構成され、前記無線基地局は、マルチアンテナを有し、前記移動端末局との通信を、前記無線中継局を通して送信を行う際に、前記無線中継局の数の変化の有無を判定し、前記無線中継局の数の変化がある時に、前記移動端末局からのフィードバック信号の遅延時間に対応して前記マルチアンテナを使用するマルチアンテナ通信方式を切り替えることに特徴を有する。
