Abstract
サーボトラックライタ(2)は、記憶デイスク(10)へのサーボ情報(102-1~102-8)の書込み中に、サーボ情報が位置をずれて書き込まれたことを検出し、検出されたサーボ情報の位置を特定し、欠陥サーボ情報として、記憶デイスク(10)に書き込む。記憶デイスク(10)を搭載したデイスク装置(3)は、この書込み情報を利用して、位置ずれしたサーボ情報を使用したヘッドの位置制御を防止し、トラックピッチ異常等によるデータ化けを防止できる。
