Abstract

 【要約】フレーム数で受信(ページング)周期が定義されているシステムおいて、フレーム長が変わっても、時間単位で同じになるようにページング周期を変更することで、移動機MSの消費電力、及び、着信時の応答遅延を維持する。このために、無線基地局からの信号をフレーム数で定義される周期毎に受信して、着信通知を検出する移動機は、受信フレームのフレーム長の変化を検知する測定部と、前記変化が検知された場合に、前記周期を定義する前記フレーム数を増加又は減少させる周期変更部と、前記周期変更部で変更した周期に応じて前記無線基地局からの信号の受信を行う着信通知監視部とを有する。
