Abstract

본 발명은 이동통신 시스템에서 단말의 전력 소모를 효과적으로 감소시키는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 본원발명의 무선 통신 시스템에서 단말의 불연속 수신 동작 제어 방법은 상기 단말의 속도 관련 정보를 측정하는 측정 단계, 상기 측정된 단말의 속도 관련 정보를 기지국에 전송하는 전송 단계, 상기 단말의 속도 관련 정보 전송에 대응하여, 상기 기지국으로부터 단말의 가변적 불연속 수신 동작을 위한 불연속 수신 동작 설정 정보를 수신하는 수신 단계, 및 상기 수신한 불연속 수신 동작 설정 정보에 따라 상기 단말의 불연속 수신 동작을 수행하는 수행 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
