Abstract
Ein Geschirrspüler umfasst einen Spülraum, in dem wenigstens ein Sprüharm (V) drehbar gelagert ist, an dem mehrere Düsen (5, 6) zum Sprühen von Spülflüssigkeit vorgesehen sind, die über eine Pumpe mit Spülflüssigkeit versorgt werden. Innerhalb des Sprüharmes ist von mindestens einer Düse (5) ein Strömungshindernis (8') zur Veränderung der Geometrie des Sprühstrahles vorgesehen. Dadurch kann das Sprühbild an der Düse individuell angepasst werden.

Geschirrspüler
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Geschirrspüler nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.
s Aus der EP 1 040 786 A1 ist eine Geschirrspülmaschine mit pulsierenden Düsen bekannt, wobei ein Arm mehrere Düsen aufweist, die über unterschiedliche Kanäle miteinander versorgt werden. Ein Kanal steht in Verbindung mit sogenannten Hilfsdüsen, wobei die Zuführung von Spülflüssigkeit zu diesen Hilfsdüsen über ein Ventil absperrbar ist. Dadurch wird erreicht, dass die Spülflüssigkeit pulsierend austritt und teilweise das Aussprühen von Spülflüssigkeit aus den iö Hilfsdüsen vermieden wird.
Aus der DE 10 2004 018 878 A1 ist eine Geschirrspülmaschine mit einem Sprüharm bekannt, bei dem ohne den Einsatz zusätzlicher Aktoren einzelne Sprühdüsen aktiviert bzw. deaktiviert werden können. Je nach Veränderung des Pumpendrucks kann dadurch ein Pulsieren des Besprühen des Geschirrs erreicht werden, um eine effektive Reinigung zu ermöglichen. Hierfür i5 sind elastische Mittel vorgesehen, die die einzelnen Düsen öffnen und schließen können. Allerdings besteht das Problem, dass der Sprühstrahl bei den vorbekannten Düsen immer entsprechend der Düsenöffnung austritt. Es ist nicht vorgesehen, dass die Sprühstrahlen in der Geometrie verändert werden und daher nicht gut in Problemzonen, beispielsweise bei Töpfen, Spülraumecken oder anderen schwer zugänglichen Bereichen eintreten können. Denn trotz der
20 Möglichkeit eines pulsierenden Betriebes bleibt die Geometrie des austretenden Sprühstrahles vorgegeben.
Bei der Geschirrspülmaschine gemäß der DE 10 2005 026 558 B3 kommt mindestens ein Sprüharm zum Einsatz, bei dem im Inneren ein rotierendes Element pulsierende Sprühstrahlen erzeugt.
25 Aus der EP 1 334 687 A1 ist ein Sprüharm mit Sprühdüsen bekannt, deren Sprühstrahlcharakteristik über blendenförmige Betätigungselemente geändert werden kann. Hierzu ist ein manueller Eingriff des Benutzers erforderlich.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung stellt sich das Problem, einen Geschirrspüler zu schaffen, bei dem aus einfach aufgebauten Sprüharmen die austretende Spülflüssigkeit im Sprühstrahl zumindest 30 teilweise anpassbar ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird mit einem Geschirrspüler mit den Merkmalen des Anspruches 1 gelöst.
Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass innerhalb des Sprüharmes vor mindestens einer Düse ein Strömungshindernis zur Veränderung der Geometrie des Sprühstrahles vorgesehen ist. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass durch ein Strömungshindernis benachbart zu der Düse aber innerhalb des Sprüharmes die Geometrie des austretenden Sprühstrahles verändert werden kann, so dass dieser nicht nur geradlinig aus dem Sprüharm heraustritt, sondern auch andere Geometrien aufweist, was die Effektivität der Reinigungsleistung erhöht. Denn insbesondere durch die Veränderung der Geometrie des Sprühstrahles lassen sich auch schlecht zugängliche Bereiche, wie bei Töpfen oder in Ecken gut erreichen.
Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist der Sprüharm als Hohlkörper ausge- bildet und ein Strömungshindernis ist an der zur Düse gegenüberliegenden Innenwand des Hohlkörpers gehalten. Dadurch sind definierte Strömungskanäle innerhalb des Sprüharmes gebildet, so dass das austretende Fluid entsprechend der Gestaltung des Strömungshindernisses und der Düse einen Sprühstrahl erzeugt. Um den Einfluss von Druckschwankungen möglichst gering zu halten, kann dabei das Strömungshindernis bis kurz vor die Austrittsfläche des Sprühstrahles an der Düse ragen, beispielsweise in einem Bereich von weniger als 4 mm.
Gemäß einer weiteren Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist das Strömungshindernis relativ zu der benachbarten Düse bewegbar. Dadurch lässt sich die Gestaltung des Sprühstrahles einstellen, wobei sowohl eine manuelle Einstellung vor dem Spülvorgang als auch eine automatische Einstellung erfolgen kann, beispielsweise abhängig vom Druck.
Vorzugsweise sind über den Sprüharm verteilt mehrere Düsen vorgesehen, denen jeweils ein Strömungshindernis zugeordnet ist. Dadurch kann je nach Sitz der Düse ein passendes Strömungshindernis der Düse zugeordnet werden. Beispielsweise sind in einem äußeren Bereich Strömungshindernisse von Vorteil, die einen etwas breiteren Sprühstrahl erzeugen, während an dem Sprüharm radial innenliegende Düsen eher einen schmaleren kräftigeren Strahl erzeugen können.
Das Strömungshindernis kann vorzugsweise als Zapfen mit einer gerundeten Oberfläche ausgebildet sein, so dass sich ein kegelförmiger Sprühstrahl ergibt. Es ist auch möglich, das Strömungshindernis als V-förmige Rampe, als Wendel oder als Stift auszubilden, um einen bestimmten Sprühstrahl zu produzieren.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand mehrerer Ausführungsbeispiele mit Bezug auf die beigefügten Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Ein Sprüharm 1 ist in einem nicht näher gezeigten Spülraum eines Geschirrspülers angeordnet. Er ist als Hohlkörper 2 ausgebildet und mittig an einer zentralen Öffnung mit einem Anschluss 3 zur Verbindung mit einem Leitungssystem des Geschirrspülers versehen. So kann über eine ebenfalls nicht dargestellte Pumpe Spülflüssigkeit in den Sprüharm 1 gepumpt werden. Der Anschluss 3 ist dabei an einer zentralen Drehachse A des Sprüharmes 1 angeordnet.
An dem Hohlkörper 2 sind in einer ersten Wand 4 mehrere Düsen 5 ausgebildet, über die Spülflüssigkeit auf nicht näher gezeigtes Spülgut versprüht werden kann. Ferner können ein oder mehrere Antriebsdüsen 6 vorgesehen sein, die für ein Rotieren des Sprüharmes 1 während des Spülbetriebes sorgen. Die Düsen 5 können, wie in den Figuren gezeigt, nach oben gerichtet sein. Alternativ ist auch eine Ausrichtung nach unten denkbar, um unter dem Sprüharm befindliches Spülgut zu reinigen.
Zumindest vor einem Teil der Düsen 5 sind in dem Hohlkörper 2 Strömungshindernisse 8 ange- ordnet, die sich von der gegenüber liegenden Wand 7 des Hohlkörpers 2 in Richtung der Düsen 5 erstrecken. Jedes Strömungshindernis 8 ist dabei einer Düse 5 zugeordnet.
Die Funktion des Strömungshindernisses wird mit Bezug auf die Figuren 2A bis 2E erläutert.
In Figur 2A ist eine Düse 5 eines Sprüharmes gezeigt, so wie sie im Stand der Technik Verwendung findet. Die Düse 5 ist nach oben gerichtet und weist eine Austrittsfläche 9 auf, durch die die Spülflüssigkeit in einem punktförmigen Strahl 10 austritt. Durch den Volumenstrom kann der Strahl 10 an Spülflüssigkeit in der Intensität variiert werden, nicht jedoch in der Geometrie. Die Strahlform bleibt somit gleich.
In Figur 2B ist der erfindungsgemäße Sprüharm 1 mit dem Strömungshindernis 8 dargestellt, das als Zapfen ausgebildet ist und eine gerundete Oberfläche aufweist, vorzugsweise als Halbkugel, die benachbart zu der Düse 5 angeordnet ist. Das Strömungshindernis 8 ist dabei direkt benachbart zu der Düse 5 vor der kreisförmigen Austrittsfläche 9 angeordnet, so dass die Strö- s mung der Spülflüssigkeit auf dem Weg in die Düse 5 beeinflusst wird. Dadurch wird die Form eines Strahls 11 aus der Düse 5 verändert, so dass aufgrund des zapfenförmigen Strömungshindernisses 8 der Strahl aus der Austrittsfläche 9 kegelförmig austritt. Durch diese Strahlform lässt sich ein größerer Bereich abdecken, der mit Spülflüssigkeit versorgt wird.
In Figur 2C ist ein modifiziertes Strömungshindernis 18 in dem Sprüharm 1 angeordnet, das als iö dünner Stift ausgebildet ist, der durch die Düse 5 ragt. Dabei ist eine Spitze 19 außerhalb der Austrittsfläche 9 der Düse 5 angeordnet. Durch diese Ausgestaltung des Strömungshindernisses als dünner durch die Austrittsfläche 9 ragenden Stift 18 wird ein Sprühstrahl 20 gebildet, der als Hohlkegel ausgebildet ist. Durch die kegelförmige Aufspreizung des Strahles wird einerseits eine relativ große Sprühfläche abgedeckt und andererseits ist der Volumenstrom im Bereich der i5 Außenfläche des Hohlkegelstrahls 20 größer als bei einem Vollkegelstrahl 1 1.
Bei dem in Figur 2D gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel für ein Strömungshindernis 28 ist an dem Boden 7 des Hohlkörpers eine Rampe ausgebildet, die sich wandförmig erstreckt und benachbart zu der Düse 5 V-förmig ausgebildet ist, so dass sich zu der Düse 5 gerichtete Schrägen 29 ausbilden. Dadurch wird der aus der Austrittsfläche 9 austretende Sprühstrahl 30 als Flachstrahl 20 ausgebildet, der sich keilförmig erweitert.
In Figur 2E ist eine weitere Ausführungsform eines Strömungshindernisses 38 dargestellt, das als Wendel mit einem schraubenförmigen Kanal 39 versehen ist. Diese Wendel endet kurz vor der Austrittsfläche 9 der Düse 5, so dass der austretende Strahl 40 als ein Wirbelstrahl ausgebildet ist.
25 Bei den Ausführungsformen der Figuren 2B bis 2E bildet das Strömungshindernis 8, 18, 28 und 38 eine Art Drossel für die Düse 5 aus, so dass aufgrund der vorbestimmten Strömungsverhältnisse benachbart zu der Düse 5 eine bestimmte Geometrie an Sprühstrahl 11 , 20, 30 oder 40 erzeugt wird, die gegebenenfalls auch abhängig vom Volumenstrom ist. Durch die Variation der Geometrie des Sprühstrahles können aber auch schlecht zugängliche Bereiche innerhalb eines
30 Spülraumes eines Geschirrspülers erreicht werden. Eine Verstellmöglichkeit ist bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel nicht vorgesehen, da die Strömungshindernisse 8, 18, 28 und 38 fest mit dem Boden 7 des Sprüharmes 1 verbunden sind.
Bei dem in Figur 3 gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist ein Sprüharm 1 vorgesehen, der wiederum als Hohlkörper 2 mit einem mittigen Anschluss 3 ausgebildet ist, wobei der Anschluss 3 ent-
lang einer zentralen Drehachse A angeordnet ist. Der Hohlkörper 2 besitzt in seiner oberen Wand 4 Düsen 5 und außerdem ein oder mehrere Antriebsdüsen 6. Hier erstreckt sich innerhalb des Hohlkörpers 2 ausgehend von der gegenüber liegenden Wand 7 jeweils ein Strömungshindernis 8' in Richtung einer Düse, das verstellbar an dem Boden 7 des Sprüharmes 2 s gehalten ist. Das Strömungshindernis 8' ist dabei als Zapfen mit einer abgerundeten Oberfläche ausgebildet, wobei an dem Zapfen 8' ein Außengewinde 9' angeformt ist, das in Eingriff mit einem Gewinde (nicht dargestellt) an der Wand 7 steht. Dadurch kann durch Drehen des Zapfens 8' das Strömungshindernis näher zur Düse 5 oder weg von der Düse 5 bewegt werden.
In Figur 4A wird der Zapfen 8' über ein nicht dargestelltes Werkzeug, das in Eingriff mit einem iö Schlitz 10' steht, von der Düse 5 wegbewegt, so dass die Beeinflussung des Strömungsweges der Spülflüssigkeit geringer wird und insofern die Geometrie des aus der Düse 5 austretenden Sprühstrahles verändert wird.
Bei der in Figur 4B gezeigten Position des Zapfens 8' ist die halbkugelförmige Oberfläche unmittelbar benachbart zu der Düse 5 angeordnet, so dass der Strömungsweg der Spülflüssigkeit 15 zu der Düse 5 relativ stark beeinflusst ist, so dass der austretende Strahl eine weiter aufgefächerte Geometrie besitzt, als bei der in Figur A gezeigten Position. Insofern kann der Benutzer durch manuelles Eindrehen oder Ausdrehen der Zapfen 8' an dem Sprüharm 1 ' die Geometrie des Sprühstrahles einstellen.
In Figur 3 sind Strömungshindernisse in Form von Zapfen 8' dargestellt, wobei es natürlich auch 20 möglich ist, die in den Figuren 2C bis E gezeigten Strömungshindernisse 18, 28 oder 38 je nach Bedarf an den einzelnen Düsen 5 vorzusehen.
In Figur 5 ist eine weitere Ausführungsform eines erfindungsgemäßen Sprüharmes 1 gezeigt, der als Hohlkörper 2 ausgebildet ist und um eine zentrale Rotationsachse 4 einen Anschluss 3 aufweist. Der Hohlkörper 2 weist über die Länge verteilt mehrere Düsen 5 auf, wobei als Rotati- 25 onsantrieb auch Antriebsdüsen 6 vorgesehen sind.
Benachbart zu den Düsen 5 sind als Strömungshindernisse Zapfen 8" mit gerundeter Oberfläche vorgesehen. Diese sind allerdings nicht fest an der den Düsen 5 gegenüber liegenden Wand 7 des Hohlkörpers 2 angeordnet, sondern über ein Federelement 9" bewegbar. Dadurch ist der Abstand des Strömungshindernisses 8" zu der Düse 5 abhängig von dem Druck inner- 30 halb des Sprüharmes 1 , so dass bei erhöhter Pumpendrehzahl die Strömungshindernisse 8" weiter von der Düse 5 weggedrückt werden als bei niedriger Pumpendrehzahl. Dadurch wird abhängig vom Druck innerhalb des Sprüharmes 1 der Sprühstrahl aus den Düsen 5 variiert.
In Figur 6A ist die Lagerung des in Figur 5 gezeigten Strömungshindernisses 8" vergrößert dargestellt. Der Zapfen 8" ist an einer Schraubenfeder 9", vorzugsweise aus Stahl gelagert, wobei die Feder 9" an einer Aufnahme 10" an der Wand 7 des Sprüharmes 1 " abgestützt ist.
Entsprechend Figur 6B ist es auch möglich, an der Wand 7 des Sprüharmes 1 eine Membran 9'" vorzusehen, an der dann ein Strömungshindernis 8'" in Form eines Zapfens bewegbar gelagert ist.
Auch bei einer federnden Lagerung der Strömungshindernisse 8" oder 8'" kann die Geometrie der Strömungshindernisse relativ frei gewählt werden, insbesondere können die in den Figuren 2C bis 2E gezeigten Strömungshindernisse ebenfalls federnd gelagert werden.
In den gezeigten Ausführungsbeispielen sind die Strömungshindernisse 8 entweder fest an dem Boden 7, verstellbar an dem Boden 7 oder federnd an dem Boden 7 gelagert. Es ist natürlich auch möglich, an einem Sprüharm unterschiedliche Strömungshindernisse 8 vorzusehen, die teilweise fest, teilweise verstellbar und teilweise federnd gelagert sind. Zudem kann die Geometrie der Strömungshindernisse innerhalb eines Sprüharmes abweichen, so dass unterschied- liehe Geometrien an Sprühstrahlen an den einzelnen Düsen 5 erzeugt werden können. Dabei kann statt einer kreisförmigen Austrittsfläche an der Düse 5 auch ein Schlitzloch oder eine andere Geometrie vorgesehen sein.
Claims
1. Geschirrspüler mit einem Spülraum, in dem wenigstens ein Sprüharm (1 ) drehbar gelagert ist, an dem mehrere Düsen (5, 6) zum Sprühen von Spülflüssigkeit vorgesehen sind, die über eine Pumpe mit Spülflüssigkeit versorgt werden,
5 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass innerhalb des Sprüharmes (1 ) vor mindestens einer Düse (5) ein Strömungshindernis (8, 8', 8", 8"1, 18, 28, 38) zur Veränderung der Geometrie des Sprühstrahles (11 , 20, 30, 40) vorgesehen ist.
2. Geschirrspüler nach Anspruch 1 , I0 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Sprüharm (1 ) als Hohlkörper (2, 2', 2") ausgebildet und ein Strömungshindernis (8, 8', 8", 8'", 18, 28, 38) an der zur Düse (5) gegenüberliegenden Innenwand des Hohlkörpers (2, 2', 2") gehalten ist.
3. Geschirrspüler nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, i5 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Strömungshindernis (8, 8', 8", 8'", 18, 28, 38) bis kurz vor die Austrittsfläche des Sprühstrahls an der Düse (5) ragt.
4. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
20 dass das Strömungshindernis (8, 8', 8", 8'", 18, 28, 38) relativ zu der benachbarten Düse (5) bewegbar ist.
5. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass über den Sprüharm (1 ) verteilt mehrere Düsen vorgesehen sind, denen jeweils ein Strö- 25 mungshindernis (8, 8', 8", 8'", 18, 28, 38) zugeordnet ist.
6. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Strömungshindernis als Zapfen (8, 8', 8", 8'") mit einer gerundeten Oberfläche, vorzugsweise als Halbkugel ausgebildet ist.
30 7. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Strömungshindernis als V-förmige Rampe (28) ausgebildet ist.
8. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Strömungshindernis eine Wendel (38) zum Verwirbeln der Spülflüssigkeit vor der Düse umfasst.
9. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Strömungshindernis einen Stift (18) umfasst, der in die Austrittsfläche des Sprühstrahls an der Düse ragt.
10. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes Strömungshindernis (8') in der Position relativ zu der benachbarten Düse verstellbar ist.
11. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes Strömungshindernis (8", 8"') mit einer Feder (9", 9"') bewegbar gelagert ist.
12. Geschirrspüler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an einem Sprüharm mehrere Düsen (5) vorgesehen sind, denen unterschiedliche Strömungshindernisse (8, 8', 8", 8"', 18, 28, 38) zugeordnet sind.
