Abstract

Disclosed is a method for hydrorefining a hydrocarbon oil, which is characterized by using a mixture of a heavy hydrocarbon oil and a hydrocarbon oil having an effect of increasing the concentration of dissolved hydrogen as a raw material for the hydrorefining, mixing hydrogen to the mixture, and passing the resulting mixture through a reaction column in which the hydrorefining is carried out. The method enables to improve the efficiency of the hydrorefining of a heavy oil.
