Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for preparing 2,2-difluoroethylamine proceeding from 2,2-difluoro-l-haloethane using ammonia in a solvent which has a maximum water content of 15% by volume and in the presence of a catalyst which accelerates the reaction with ammonia.
