Abstract

L'invention concerne un composé pour films anisotropes qui est représenté, dans sa forme acide libre, par la formule (1) suivante. Le composé pour films anisotropes est utile dans des films anisotropes tels que des films polarisants, présente un dichroïsme élevé dans une région de longueurs d'onde courtes (380-500 nm) et a une excellente durabilité. (L1 représente -(CH=CH)r- ou -(C≡C)s-, r et s représentant chacun un entier de 1 à 5 ; Ar1 représente un phénylène éventuellement substitué, un naphtylène éventuellement substitué ou un groupement hétérocyclique éventuellement substitué ; m représente un entier de 0 à 3 ; p et k représentent chacun 0 ou 1, à condition que p et k ne représentent pas tous les deux 0 ; X1 représente l'hydrogène ou un groupement organique ; et X2 représente un hydrogène, un nitro, un amino éventuellement substitué ou un groupement représenté par la formule (1-a) suivante, à condition que lorsque X2 représente un hydrogène, un nitro ou un amino éventuellement substitué, m ne représente pas 0.)
