Abstract

液体属性検出装置は、互いにイオン化傾向が異なる金属で形成された2つの電極と、前記2つの電極と接触するように液体を収容する収容部とを有する液体収容容器における前記2つの電極間に発生する起電力を取得する起電力取得手段と、前記液体収容容器に収容される液体の属性と前記起電力との対応関係を示すテーブルを記憶する記憶手段と、前記起電力取得手段により取得された起電力と、前記記憶手段に記憶されたテーブルとを用いて、前記液体収容容器に収容されている液体の属性を決定する属性決定手段と、前記属性決定手段により決定された属性に応じた情報を出力する出力手段とを有する。
