Abstract

 この発明は、光源からの光を高い効率で利用しながら、光の放射方向の厚みを増大させることなく、放射面から所定の距離離れた面において均一な照明光を得る。この発明は、光を放射する光源と、光源からの光を伝搬してその放射方向の所定位置に放射面を有する導光体と、導光体の放射面以外の面を閉鎖し光源を略中央に配置したケーシングと、ケーシングと導光体の間に設けられて導光体内部を伝搬する光を反射する反射面を有する内側反射部と、放射面上に配置され導光体内部を伝搬する光を所定の割合で反射させる反射面を有する外方反射部、及び外方反射部に形成され光源12からの光のうち少なくとも1回はいずれかの反射面で反射された反射光を通過させる開口部、を有する放射側反射部と、を備えている。
