Abstract

 蒸発装置において生成される高濃度の濃縮塩水を外部に排出することなく飲料用等の淡水を生成することができる造水装置及び造水方法を提供する。  塩化ナトリウムを含む被処理水を蒸発濃縮させると共に、発生した水蒸気を凝縮させることにより濃縮塩水及び凝縮水を生成する蒸発装置(2)と、水を透過する半透膜(3a)により仕切られ、蒸発装置(2)で生成された濃縮塩水及び当該濃縮塩水よりも塩化ナトリウム濃度の低い希釈水がそれぞれ導かれる濃縮塩水室(31)及び希薄水室(32)を有する半透膜透過器(3)と、半透膜(3a)を介して希薄水室(32)から透過された水により希釈された濃縮塩水室(31)における濃縮塩水を蒸発装置(2)に被処理水として還流させる還流手段(7)とを備える造水装置(1)。
