Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Leistungsschalter mit einem mindestens eine Öffnung aufweisenden Gehäuse und mindestens einem im Gehäuse angeordneten Kontaktpaar, wobei die Kontakte des Kontaktpaares zum Öffnen und Schließen eines Stromkreises relativ zueinander beweglich sind. Es ist vorgesehen, dass zwischen wenigstens einem der Kontaktpaare und wenigstens einer Gehäuseöffnung (11) ein von den Stromführungsteilen des Leistungsschalters (1) elektrisch isolierter offenporiger Metallschaum (20) angeordnet ist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin die Verwendung eines offenporigen Metallschaums (20) auf Zinkbasislegierung oder Aluminiumbasislegierung als Kühlstruktur zur Wärmeableitung aus in einem elektrischen Schaltprozess entstandenen Schaltgasen.
