Abstract

 同期信号のための搬送波周波数を用いることなく、データ信号に対する同期処 理を行うことができる変調装置、復調装置およびこれらを用いた伝送システム、ならびに音響信号伝送方法を提供することを目的とする。  変調装置3において、搬送波周波数に応じて設定されたPN系列およびデータ信号が重畳された音響信号を送信する。復調装置9において、この音響信号を受信し、複数のPN系列において音響信号との最大相関値が最も高いPN系列を判別し、判別されたPN系列と音響信号との相関値に基づいてシンボル同期ポイントを検出して、同期処理を行う。その後、OFDM復調処理部38は、検出された同期ポイントおよび判別されたPN系列に基づいて音響信号に重畳されているデータ信号の搬送波周波数帯域を決定してデータ信号を復調する。
