Abstract

　被駆動体と駆動体との連結部を、正回転方向のトルクを伝達するとともに被駆動体の駆動負荷が所定値を超えた場合に自身の破断により駆動体からのトルクの伝達を遮断する正トルク伝達部材と、逆回転方向のトルクを伝達可能な負トルク伝達部材との互いに別部材の組み合わせにより構成した動力伝達装置において、両トルク伝達部材を組み合わせ後、正トルク伝達部材には引張方向の予張力、負トルク伝達部材には圧縮方向の予張力の互いに反対方向の予張力を同時に発生させる予張力発生手段が設けられていることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。所望の予張力を精度よくかつ簡便に付与でき、連結部における材料の疲労を抑えて適正にトルク遮断できる信頼性の高い動力伝達装置を提供できる。
