Abstract

Der Backofen ist ausgebildet mit einem durch eine Ofentür (20) verschließbaren Garraum (2) und besitzt eine rückseitige Gebläsekammer (9), in der sich ein Heißluftgebläse (10) befindet, von dem aus Heißluftströmungen durch Luftleitelemente (14) und durch Luftaustrittsöffnungen (13) in der Gebläsekammerwand (8) in den Garraum (2) zum Gargut geleitet werden. Gemäß der Erfindung werden durch die Lamellen tragenden Luftleitelemente (14) in sich gedrallt abgehende Heißluftströmungen erzeugt mit Abstand zu den seitlichen Garraumwänden (3, 4) und zum zentralen Bereich (22) des Garraumes (2).
