Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de découpage et de soudage à la flamme utilisant du pentane liquide comme combustible. Le procédé utilise du pentane comme combustible de sorte qu'une pression négative soit produite à l'ouverture d'un tube de raccordement de combustible lorsqu'un chalumeau découpeur à aspiration de jet fonctionne, qu'une pression négative soit également produite dans un évaporateur pour faire évaporer le pentane liquide en gaz dans l'évaporateur, puis que le pentane gazeux se mélange à l'oxygène à un rythme approprié dans le chalumeau découpeur afin de produire un gaz combustible pour le découpage et le soudage à la flamme. Le dispositif comprend un chalumeau découpeur et soudeur à aspiration de jet, un évaporateur et un réservoir à oxygène. Un raccord à oxygène du chalumeau découpeur et soudeur à aspiration de jet est relié par un tube flexible à une soupape de réglage de pression située sur le réservoir à oxygène ; un raccord à gaz combustible du chalumeau découpeur et soudeur à aspiration de jet est relié par un tube flexible à l'évaporateur ; une soupape de gaz combustible est attachée au raccord à gaz combustible, et une soupape de gaz combustible est également située sur l'évaporateur.
