Abstract

空気の強制的循環により蓄電池の発熱を有効に抑えつつ、異物混入の抑制と、車両レイアウト自由度の増大と、騒音の低減と、を併せて達成することができる蓄電池空冷装置を提供すること。車両走行用のエネルギー源として車載された蓄電池(1)の発熱を空気の強制的循環により冷却する蓄電池空冷装置において、外周に隙間余裕による空間を持たせて蓄電池(1)を収納するバッテリケース(2)と、車室内からの収納や取り出しが可能で収納物を冷蔵するクールボックス(3)と、バッテリケース(2)のケース室(2a)とクールボックス(3)のボックス室(3a)を連通させることで空気循環閉鎖経路を形成する一対のダクト(5,6)と、空気循環閉鎖経路の途中位置に設定し、駆動により経路内の空気を強制的に循環させるファン(7)と、を備えた。
