Abstract

ヘッドカバー１０の機体本体との締結面１５が水平面に対して傾斜して配置される内燃機関のヘッドカバー１０において、締結面１５を基準としたオイル流出防止壁２５の上端位置までの高さを、締結面１５の傾斜下り側の方が傾斜上り側より高くなるようにした。よって、オイルがオイル流出防止壁２５を越えて流出しにくくなり、漏れたオイルが意図しない箇所に流出するのを回避できるとともに、傾斜上り側において、良好なオイル補給作業性、オイルフィラーキャップ着脱作業性を確保することができる。
