Abstract

画像表示装置において、駆動素子のＶthシフト量を画素ごとに均一化すること。通電により発光する発光素子Ｄ１と、発光素子Ｄ１に接続され、発光素子Ｄ１を発光制御する駆動素子Ｑ１と、駆動素子Ｑ１の閾値電圧を検出し、検出した閾値電圧に基づいて駆動素子Ｑ１への印加電圧を制御するコントローラＵ１と、を備え、コントローラＵ１は、閾値電圧と所定の閾値との比較結果に基づき、発光素子Ｄ１の非発光時に駆動素子Ｑ１に逆バイアスとなる電圧または順バイアスとなる電圧を印加する。
