Abstract

画像表示装置において、駆動素子のVthシフト量を画素ごとに均一化すること。通電により発光する発光素子D1と、発光素子D1に接続され、発光素子D1を発光制御する駆動素子Q1と、駆動素子Q1の閾値電圧を検出し、検出した閾値電圧に基づいて駆動素子Q1への印加電圧を制御するコントローラU1と、を備え、コントローラU1は、閾値電圧と所定の閾値との比較結果に基づき、発光素子D1の非発光時に駆動素子Q1に逆バイアスとなる電圧または順バイアスとなる電圧を印加する。
