Abstract

　液晶表示パネルに表示データ（階調電圧）を出力するデータドライバ（３１）に遅延選択回路（９）を設ける。データロード信号（ＬＯＡＤ）は、ラッチ回路部（５）にラッチされた階調データ（ＤＡＴＡ）をホールド回路部（６）に取り込むタイミングを定める。遅延選択回路（９）は、選択制御端子（１９）から入力される選択制御信号（ＳＥＬ）に基づいて決定した遅延時間でデータロード信号（ＬＯＡＤ）を遅延させる。液晶表示パネルに実装される複数のデータドライバ（３１）間で選択制御信号（ＳＥＬ）を異ならせることにより、データドライバ（３１）間で階調データ（ＤＡＴＡ）をホールド回路部（６）に取り込むタイミングを異ならせる。これにより、チップ面積を増大させることなく、表示装置における駆動信号の出力タイミングをずらす。
