Abstract

 制御ループが切れたときに積分回路の積分内容が不定になるという問題を解決する直交偏波間干渉補償装置を提供する。  直交偏波間干渉補償器は、自偏波信号に含まれる位相雑音を補償するための補償信号を生成する。復調器は、自偏波信号に含まれる位相雑音を補償信号に基づいて、直交偏波間干渉を補償する。誤差検出器は、復調器にて補償された自偏波信号と、本来あるべき自偏波信号との位相差を示す誤差信号を生成する。位相雑音位相検出器は、補償信号と誤差信号とに基づいて、自偏波信号および異偏波信号の位相差を示す差分信号を生成する。積分回路は、差分信号を積分して積分信号を生成する。無限移相器は、積分信号に基づいて補償信号を調節する。制御回路は、無限移相器が調節した補償信号に基づいて、直交偏波間干渉があるか否かを判断し、直交偏波間干渉がない場合、積分信号が示す積分値を所定値に調整する。
