Abstract

　簡素な構成で位相を検出可能な位相検出装置を提供する。位相検出装置５は、正弦波信号Ｓｓａの正負、余弦波信号Ｓｃａの正負、正弦波信号Ｓｓａの絶対値と余弦波信号Ｓｃａの絶対値との大小関係に基づいて、位相θが、０から２πまでの範囲を０からπ／４毎に区切った８区分のいずれに含まれるかを特定する区分特定部２７と、位相θが８区分のいずれに含まれるかに関らず、正弦波の正負、余弦波の正負、及び、正弦波の絶対値と余弦波の絶対値との大小関係の組み合わせが一定になるように、正弦波信号Ｓｓａ及び余弦波信号Ｓｃａの正負を調整するとともに正弦波信号Ｓｓａ及び余弦波信号Ｓｃａの一方を正弦波、他方を余弦波とし、８区分に共通の手順により、正弦波及び余弦波に基づき正接の逆正接を算出する逆正接算出部３７とを有する。
