Abstract

 簡素な構成で位相を検出可能な位相検出装置を提供する。位相検出装置5は、正弦波信号Ssaの正負、余弦波信号Scaの正負、正弦波信号Ssaの絶対値と余弦波信号Scaの絶対値との大小関係に基づいて、位相θが、0から2πまでの範囲を0からπ/4毎に区切った8区分のいずれに含まれるかを特定する区分特定部27と、位相θが8区分のいずれに含まれるかに関らず、正弦波の正負、余弦波の正負、及び、正弦波の絶対値と余弦波の絶対値との大小関係の組み合わせが一定になるように、正弦波信号Ssa及び余弦波信号Scaの正負を調整するとともに正弦波信号Ssa及び余弦波信号Scaの一方を正弦波、他方を余弦波とし、8区分に共通の手順により、正弦波及び余弦波に基づき正接の逆正接を算出する逆正接算出部37とを有する。
