Abstract

 放送再送信装置(400)は、放送波に対する再送信波の遅延量を示すパイロット情報(480)を生成するパイロット情報生成部(414)と、上記パイロット情報(480)を含めて上記再送信波を生成するOFDM変調・再送信部(418)とを備える。また、放送受信装置(100)は、再送信波の放送波に対する遅延量を算出する遅延量算出部(14)と、上記算出した遅延量を記憶する遅延量記憶部(21)と、上記遅延量記憶部(21)が記憶する上記遅延量を基に、STCの遅延量を決定する遅延量決定部(15)とを備える。これにより、放送受信装置(100)は、再送信波の遅延量に基づいて映像音声情報の提示を遅らせることにより、放送波と再送信波とを切り替えるとき、映像や音声が途切れや欠落が発生しないようにすることができる。
