Abstract

本発明は、動物胞を用いて所望のタンパク質の産生および/または所望のウイルスの増殖させるための細胞培養用培地を提供することを課題とする。さらに、本発明はこれらの培地を用いたタンパク質の産生方法およびウイルスの増殖促進方法を提供することを課題とする。メリビオースなどの糖類を含む培地を用いて動物細胞を培養すると、細胞内に組み込まれた発現プロモーターが活性化されてタンパク質の産生が促進し、または細胞に感染しているウイルスが顕著に増殖する。
