Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau souple de protection contre l'incendie (1) comprenant au moins deux couches de semi-produit fibreux (8) dont la température de ramollissement est d'au moins 700°C et une couche intermédiaire en matériau de protection contre l'incendie (7). L'invention porte également sur un procédé pour protéger des objets contre l'incendie au moyen du matériau de protection contre l'incendie (1), cette protection étant réalisée par enveloppement et/ou enrobage des objets au moyen du matériau de protection contre l'incendie (1). Ledit matériau de protection contre l'incendie (1) peut servir notamment à protéger des barres conductrices de courant contre l'incendie.
