Abstract

  　直径寸法がサスペンションのスペーサ孔の内径寸法以上のボールを、超音波振動させた棒状の押圧部材により押して、スペーサ孔に次々に通過させることで、スペーサ孔周縁部をかしめて、各サスペンションを各キャリッジアームの先端部に取り付けるかしめ工程において、ボールを押圧する押圧部材がスペーサ部のスペーサ孔の内周面等に衝突することを抑えることで、スペーサ部の変形によるサスペンションの基準角度からの傾きを極力なくすことの可能なキャリッジアセンブリの組立方法、およびそれに用いられる組立装置を提供する。 　ボール２０がスペーサ孔１２ｂの一つを通過した後、スペーサ孔１２ｂよりボール２０の通過方向後方に位置する間隙保持板３６の貫通孔３６ａの内径を、スペーサ孔１２ｂの内径よりも縮径させる。
